Sweet Serendipity : Lee DeWyze

Lee DeWyze premiered worldwide today his new single "Sweet Serendipity" on Ryan Secreast's KIIS FM show. The season nine American Idol champ will release his debut album "Live It Up" on November 16th. It's okay, but forgettable = disappointing. Very John Mayer stuff when I was actually expecting something more rock-ish from Lee. Yeah it has a nice upbeat, piano-driven melody but that's it for me. I don't see 'hit' written over this track sorry. Plus, this wasn't supposed to be the lead single from his album. It was confirmed that this honor would be for the title track - "Live It Up" - but in a last minute call, DeWyze's label changed the single choice and delivered this record for Ryan to premiere today.
